Artist Jesse Demolli paints scenic backdrops of Germany for the Hagarstown, Maryland Octoberfest.
Demolli Art Studio has been hired to paint three canvas murals for Hagarstown, MD Octoberfest. The murals depict three regions of Bavaria and include the castle of King Ludwig, the founder of Octoberfest. The other two backdrops portray the town of Regensburg and St Bartoloma Church in Kings Lake, Bavaria Germany. The first Octoberfest was held in Munich in 1810 to commemorate the marriage of Prince Ludwig and Princess Theresa of Bavaria. Today, the festival is still held for sixteen days each October
