Glenwood Avenue, Easton MD, In Hood Colectio
Exterior Murals at Lowes Wharf Marina Inn in Sherwood, MD.
Jesse Demolli to transform Lowe’s Wharf marina, inn and tavern with murals celebrating the rich history of the wharf and the Chesapeake Bay. The exterior of Lowe’s Wharf will be transformed by a faux finish of painted bricks. Murals interspersed along the outside include depictions of the skipjack Nellie Byrd, the steamboat Emma Giles and a skipjack crew leaving Tilghman Island through Knapps Narrows. The Nellie Byrd is a homage to Captain Darryl Larimore, who used to be a regular at the Tavern. The steamboat Emma Giles was at one time the regions connection to the western shore.
